The AbsorberFan Basic Kit gets the most out of your Dometic or Thetford absorption fridge – no modifications, no risk, just plug-and-play.

Every AbsorberFan set is custom-built to your dimensions and specs — Made in Germany. Fits small or large fridge vents, in both motorhomes and vans.

Thanks to smart airflow and powerful fans (up to 500 m³/h), warm air is reliably and quietly extracted from the cooling shaft. This results in up to 5 °C lower temperatures. For example: freezer compartment as low as -27 °C at 23 °C ambient temperature – ideal for summer, southern Europe or off-grid travel.

Whether a large motorhome compartment or a small van compartment—the technical module can be positioned freely depending on the setup. At the top, on the cooling fins, either 2×120 mm or 2×140 mm fans are installed. At the bottom there is usually space for 1×200 mm, or a correspondingly smaller size. Both fan zones (top / bottom) have separate PWM control and separate temperature sensors. This ensures maximum performance to cool the compartment.

From the right viewing angle, the temperature sensors can be read through the grille.
