AbsorberFan Basic Kit – Maximum cooling power for your RV fridge

The AbsorberFan Basic Kit gets the most out of your Dometic or Thetford absorption fridge – no modifications, no risk, just plug-and-play.

Every AbsorberFan set is custom-built to your dimensions and specs — Made in Germany. Fits small or large fridge vents, in both motorhomes and vans.

Thanks to smart airflow and powerful fans (up to 400 m³/h), warm air is reliably and quietly extracted from the cooling shaft. This results in up to 5 °C lower temperatures. For example: freezer compartment as low as -27 °C at 23 °C ambient temperature – ideal for summer, southern Europe or off-grid travel.

Whether a large motorhome compartment or a small van compartment—the technical module can be positioned freely depending on the setup. At the top, on the cooling fins, either 2×120 mm or 2×140 mm fans are installed. At the bottom there is usually space for 1×200 mm, or a correspondingly smaller size. Both fan zones (top / bottom) have separate PWM control and separate temperature sensors. This ensures maximum performance to cool the compartment.

From the right viewing angle, the temperature sensors can be read through the grille.

ATTENTION: Basic KIT includes only 1 set of fans (2 pcs.) for the top of the absorption fridge.
